TOSCO REFINERY

The project consisted of constructing a Polypropylene Plant for the TOSCO/Bayway Refinery in Linden, NJ. JJS was contracted to install all the underground piping systems. The piping systems include;

• 2080 LF 10” to 16” Ductile Iron Storm Drainage Pipe
• 31 Double Catch Basins
• 1400 LF of 6” & 10” HDPE Utility Water Pipe
• 13 Process Sewer Manholes
• 1600 LF of 4” HDPE Potable Water Pipe
• 3000 LF of 8” thru 36” Welded Steel Cooling Water Pipe
• 1800 LF of 6” thru 12” Ductile Iron Process Sewer Pipe
• 3300 LF of 8” Ductile Iron Firewater Pipe

Working on a very fast track schedule on a site that’s footprint was only 300’ x 600’, JJS installed 13,180
LF of various type piping systems while coordinating with and working along side contactors installing
10,500 LF of duct bank and 10,000 CY of concrete.
