RUTGERS ACADEMIC BUILDING

The Rutgers Academic Building is a multi-story academic building with two basement levels. Also, the building has an east and west wing, which are interconnected only at the lower level basement. Above grade, the appearance is two separate buildings separated by a plaza—the building fit-out with approximately 2,500 classroom seats in large lecture hall configurations.

The building is approximately 175,000 square feet of usable space, which includes classrooms, lecture halls, faculty offices, and mechanical rooms. All faculty space is primarily located in the upper floors of the west wing of the Rutgers Academic Building.
