TARGET RANGE

Jingoli constructed a rifle and pistol range for NRC-required training of security personnel for a nuclear power plant. Subsurface conditions required extensive geotechnical reinforcement. The berms were as high as 23 feet tall, and were covered with mats to control erosion until grass was established.

The range is 800 feet long and consists of:

• A 40-foot tall firing tower
• An automated, remote-controlled target system
• Night lighting to simulate varying conditions
