Pittsburgh Mills is a 1.1 million-square-foot retail and entertainment center along with commercial/retail out parcels on a 340-Acre Site.
SITE WORK
JINGOLI was the General Contractor performing all site work. The project scope included 8 million cubic yards of earthwork, storm water infrastructure, sanitary sewer, water distribution system, electric duct bank, paving, site lighting, and landscaping. Earthwork was executed on a fast track schedule to deliver the building pad within five months from notice to proceed.

- 5 Acres of Deep Dynamic Compaction
- 70 foot high temporary soil nail wall – Design/Build
- 5,400 LF of 60” RCP Pipe and Box Culvert (with fill heights up to 120 feet) for two existing streams
- 35,000 LF of Storm Sewers ranging in size from 15” to 96”
- 18, 000 LF of Sanitary Sewers
- 22,600 LF of Water Main
- 36,600 LF of Electric Distribution Duct Bank
- 62,000 LF of Concrete Curb
- 72 Acres of Asphalt Paving for Roadways and Parking lots
- 4 Traffic Signals
INTERCHANGE
A complete limited access highway interchange and relocation of an adjacent local roadway and stream.
Interchange Highlights:
- 4 Way interchange on limited access highway
- 2 Span (precast concrete) Bridge supported by Caissons
- Relocation of 3,000 LF of two lane local road
- 1 Million CY of Borrow Excavation from Site
- Erected Temporary 300 foot 2 span Maybe Bridge over Rt. 28 for 100 Ton Trucks to complete borrow haul – Design/Build
- 90 foot high temporary soil nail wall – Design/Build
- 3 Permanent Retaining Walls
- 1 Geogrid Reinforced Earth Embankment
- 1,500 LF of 6×6 and 7.5×7.5 Post Tensioned Box Culvert
- 2 Traffic Signals
