ESSEX COUNTY WYNONA LIPMAN FAMILY COURTHOUSE

The New Essex County Family Courts is an eight-story, 285,000-square-foot judicial facility located on Branford Place in Newark, New Jersey. Designed for the Family Court Division of the Essex Vicinage of the New Jersey Superior Court, the building addresses the growing demand for modern, centralized family court services.  

The building houses 22 courtrooms, including 19 Family Court courtrooms and three Children-in-Court courtrooms, along with five hearing rooms, four mediation rooms, and 18 interview rooms. Additional spaces include child-friendly waiting areas, a domestic violence unit, non-dissolution services, and offices for prosecutors, interpreters, and court-appointed special advocates. 

JINGOLI provided comprehensive Project and Construction Management services throughout all phases of the project, from construction through occupancy and close-out. The team is responsible for overseeing schedule, cost, quality, and coordination among multiple stakeholders, ensuring that courtroom spaces, public areas, and secure zones are delivered to the highest standards.
