Elizabeth Fire Engine 6 is a 14,800 SF, two-story fire station designed to meet the operational, safety, and resilience needs of the City of Elizabeth. The facility features a brick masonry façade with a steel structural system and includes three fire engine apparatus bays and one dedicated ambulance bay. A basement level provides additional storage and is accessible via elevator. The station was designed to support round-the-clock emergency operations while serving as a critical public safety asset for the surrounding neighborhood.
JINGOLI provided construction management services for the Elizabeth Fire Engine 6 project, coordinating all phases of construction and system installation. Responsibilities included managing the buildout of apparatus bays with epoxy flooring, installation of security cameras and alert systems, and integration of specialized fire station components such as the break-away vehicle exhaust system. JINGOLI also oversaw construction of firefighter living quarters for 20 personnel across three shifts, including sleeping areas, a full kitchen, and a fitness gym, while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and sustainability requirements.
