The Elizabeth Redevelopment Project consisted of an eight-story parking structure and a three-story office and retail building serving Union County College, the County of Union, and the Elizabeth Parking Authority.
The completed parking garage provides approximately 1,500 spaces across nine levels within a precast concrete structure featuring an architectural precast façade. The lower levels were designed as an architectural base to reduce the perceived scale of the structure, while enclosed glass stairs and elevator towers enhance both design and user security.
The adjoining office building, located on the east side of the garage with its main entrance on Caldwell Place, includes ground-floor retail space and office space on the second and third floors. The exterior combines brick and architectural precast elements, with storefront glazing at street level and aluminum-and-glass window systems throughout the office levels.
