DCO provided services in business development, project development, project management, and construction management services. The energy projects meet the requirements set forth by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities Renewable Energy Advanced Program. The project was placed in service at the end of 2008.
The SCUA project includes the turn-key construction of a 1.9 MW power plant with one reciprocating engine/generator set and associated equipment interconnected to the local power grid. The project also includes a pipeline to convey landfill gas to a local college for direct end us.
The first 1.6 MW unit is producing approximately 11,000,000 kWh of electric energy. The output from the plant is sold to the wholesale electric market through PJM Power Pool. The site designed for a total installed capacity of 3.8MW.
