BROAD MOUNTAIN LANDFILL GAS TO ENERGY PROJECT

The Broad Mountain Power Landfill Gas to Energy Project includes design, equipment procurement, construction and operations and maintenance. The project is located at the Commonwealth Environmental Systems (CES) municipal solid waste Landfill in Hegins, Pennsylvania.

The CES project includes turn-key construction of a 10.2 MW power plant with two mobile turbine packages and associated equipment interconnected to the local power grid. The project also includes a pipeline to convey landfill gas to the facility, two stage compression systems and a siloxane removal system.

Interconnection to the flare and controls allow for the landfill gas to be directed to both the energy Generation Facility and a local business for direct end use.
