Joseph Jingoli & Son, Inc. was retained to provide Design Assist Services to aid the design professionals for relocation of existing underground piping systems critical to operation of the infrastructure of the City of Bethlehem. In addition, JJS performed all Soil Erosion & Sediment Control, Earthwork and Rough Grading for the entire 126 acre site which was the former Bethlehem Steel plant located in downtown Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. JJS also performed Utility Relocations of critical domestic water, sanitary and storm water services bisecting the site which served the surrounding community and supervision of the Test Grouting and Dynamic Compaction programs necessary to commence the foundation installation. This project is a fast track project with the final scope of work performed by JJS currently being expanded as the design documents become available. It is anticipated that JJS will be performing the remainder of the site utility installation work and are currently engaged in discussions with the owner of the facility to expand its role on this project.
