The Pittsburgh Mills Project is a 1.1 million-square-foot retail and entertainment center along with commercial / retail out parcels on a 340-acre site adjacent to Route 28 in Allegheny to Route 28 in Allegheny County, PA. This location will
add to the client’s portfolio of twenty-three retail and entertainment destinations. Joseph Jingoli & Son, Inc. is providing services to the client for two portions of this project.
SITE WORK
Joseph Jingoli & Son, Inc. is the General Contractor performing all site work. The project scope includes 8 million cubic yards of earthwork, storm water infrastructure, sanitary sewer, water distribution system, electric duct bank, paving, site lighting, and landscaping. Earthwork was executed on a fast track schedule to deliver the building pad within five months from Notice to Proceed.
INTERCHANGE CONSTRUCTION
Joseph Jingoli & Son, Inc. is the Construction Manager for a new
PennDOT Interchange on State Route 28 that will become the
primary point of access for the site. As Construction Manager, Joseph Jingoli & Son,
Inc. is the owner's agent managing their construction contracts and interfacing with Design Professionals and PennDOT. Project scope
includes a complete limited access highway interchange and
relocation of an adjacent local roadway and stream.
