Meadowlands Xanadu will be a mixed-use development featuring a 4.76 million square foot entertainment and retail center, 1.5 million square feet of office space, a hotel, and a transportation facility.
This project is adjacent to the Continental Airlines Arena at the Meadowlands Sports Complex. The entire project involves extensive phasing and sequencing to advance construction on a fast track schedule without interfering with the ongoing operation of the sports complex.
SITE WORK
The project consists of earthwork, piles and foundations, storm water infrastructure, sanitary sewer, water distribution system electrical duct bank, roadways, paving, site lighting, and landscaping. JJS is also responsible for all phasing and staging of work zones and maintaining access to the sports complex during construction.

PARKING DECKS
JJS is the General Contractor constructing two precast concrete parking decks for the entertainment and retail center. Both pile supported decks are two levels and combined will provide 1900 elevated spaces.
OFFSITE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENTS
JJS is the Construction Manager for all offsite roadway improvements that will be undertaken directly by the Developer to improve access to the site. The scope of work includes a 2 phase project to modify State Route 120 including a new fly over from Route 3, lane widening, ramp modifications and channelization. The New Jersey Turnpike Exit 18W ramps will also be widened and realigned for full time direct access to the site.
