The Project consists of the construction of the New Cooper Medical School of Rowan University at what is now the corner of Broad and Benson Streets (Block 190) Camden, NJ. The work includes the demolition of the existing structures, and construction of the new seven level, 200,000 square foot building. Currently in design development, this new building will feature an auditorium, student center and learning commons, research and education laboratories, vivarium, gross anatomy labs and office spaces. The Project will be applying for LEED Certification and the scope will include work and documentation to achieve the goal set by the Camden County Improvement Authority. The building is scheduled to begin construction in November 2010 and will be
completed in June 2012.
